Some information:

Studies:

My studies have always been closely linked to my two favorite subjects: English and History. For instance, I had the chance to spend a full year in Canada with my whole family before doing a bilingual Maturité at the Lycée Denis-de-Rougemont.

Then, once I had my high school diploma, it turned out I was obliged to take a gap year in order to perform my military service. Given that I had plenty of spare time before the army, I decided to backpack around Australia for six months which was simply amazing.

At university, in addition to my English studies, I specialized myself in ancient and medieval history as well as followed some courses in archeology.

Passions:

Apart from that, I like reading science-fiction and heroic fantasy novels and doing all kinds of sports such as: riding my bicycle or motorbike, kitesurfing, swimming and playing badminton.

Of course, I also love spending time with my family and friends over a beer.

Studies:

Since childhood, mathematics and technology have always played a central role in my life. When I entered the Lycée Blaise Cendrars, I chose the Physics and Applied Mathematics option, convinced that I was destined to become a civil engineer.

But a passionate mathematics teacher changed my path: his enthusiasm inspired me to pursue teaching. After beginning my university studies in mathematics and doing my first substitute teaching, my vocation became clear.

After two years of teaching mathematics at the LJP, the opening of the Computer Science Department was an opportunity for me to resume my studies and add computer science as a second teachable subject.

Passions:

Alongside teaching, I am also a master brewer in my own brewery and work as an IT specialist for various companies and organizations. I also nurture a passion for photography, particularly landscapes, wildlife, and macro.

Outside of my professional and creative activities, I enjoy sharing good moments with friends, around a nice meal, craft beers, and often a card game.
